GuardWord collects a device fingerprint (non-personal identifier based on device characteristics) solely to manage the free trial period. No personal data is stored on our servers.
GuardWord uses the microphone to detect your trigger word and activate the alarm. Audio is processed locally on your device and is never recorded, transmitted, or stored.
GuardWord may access your GPS location to include it in emergency SMS alerts. Location data is only used at the moment of alarm activation and is never stored or shared with third parties.
GuardWord can send SMS messages to your emergency contacts when the alarm is triggered. Messages are sent directly from your device using your mobile plan. No SMS content is stored on our servers.
GuardWord uses Google Play Billing for payment processing. Google's privacy policy applies to payment data. GuardWord does not store any payment information.
The device fingerprint used for trial management is stored on our secure servers (Upstash Redis via Vercel) and is never linked to any personal identity.
